In addition to raw materials, you will also need the following hardware.
1x Confined Space Spring (McMaster-Carr 1692k28)
1x FHCS, 5/16-18 x 2.5″ LG (McMaster-Carr 91253A593)

Love this arbor! But I have not even finished making it yet 😉 The drawings are easy to follow, especially for an amateur home machinist who is only new to lathes and mills like me. This is my first proper project and for my first time trying to hit the numbers I got to within 2 thou for the 0.500 dia barrel section of the slitting saw cap. So I now need to make sure the 0.500inch hole in the Boss is no smaller than 0.502! No Pressure now lol!! But I digress, the arbor is really versatile as I have a few different size slitting saws with different size bores, so this arbor will save me from having to buy multiple arbors with different shank sizes. Thanks Brandon 🙂
Ps. I’m in Australia and buying tools here can get expensive, so if I can make some that will keep me out of the hot water with the wifey :)-
