Description

So you want to make your own bolt-action pen? Great choice. Here is the drawing I used to make this project.

For this build I used the following materials but feel free to adapt for your own preferences. I think brass would look nice as well.

1/2″ 110 Copper Rod

1/2″ 410 Stainless Rod

1/16″ 17-4 Stainless Sheet (not exactly sure on what I used)

3x #2-56 x 3/8″LG Button Head Cap Screws

Waterman “Rollerball” Ink Cartridge (standard rollerball cartridge, linked here)

Spring (stolen from old pen/mechanical pencil)

Also, I noticed after finishing the project that the original pen I made was actually 0.400″ in diameter as opposed to the 0.450″ of the one I made. The smaller diameter definitely makes a difference in the weight.

After your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of the order with a link to download the drawing PDF. If you have any questions just give me a shout at inheritancemachining@gmail.com.
